Joseph N. Savasta and the J.N. Savasta Corp team are proud to be longtime supporters of a variety of important programs that help and serve others.

In addition to financial support, Mr. Savasta serves on multiple boards of directors and generously gives of his personal time in an effort to lead by example and give back to the communities he lives in and serves.

He believes in sharing his success and thus supports many fine national and local organizations in the arts, health, education, mental wellness, child development, adult development, job support for adults, and those managing disabilities and learning constraints. American Geerz for Life Foundation

Geerz is a multi-faceted physical and educational program. Our goal is to help both normative youth hoping to expand their experience and abilities, as well as those struggling with today’s common challenges like: addiction to electronics, poor health, lack of self-esteem and self-confidence, anxiety, and learning challenges.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross, also known as The American National Red Cross, is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.

Feed the Children

In the United States we distribute product donations of food and other items from corporate donors through our network of local community partners, we provide classroom support and school supplies to students in vulnerable areas, and we mobilize resources quickly to aid recovery efforts when natural disasters strike.

Food Bank for New York City

Food Bank For New York City has been working to end food poverty in our five boroughs since 1983. As the city’s largest hunger-relief organization, we employ a multifaceted approach centered on helping low-income New Yorkers overcome their circumstances and achieve greater independence.

MVHS Foundation

The mission of the MVHS Foundation is to build relationships and partnerships that inspire generosity in support of the Mohawk Valley Health System.

Futures in Education

The mission of Futures in Education is to ensure that the gift of an excellent Catholic education continues to be a viable option for current and future generations of deserving students in Brooklyn and Queens. We provide assistance to the neediest of those students, through endowment funds and fundraising programs that focus on key educational priorities.

George Mark’s Children’s House

It can be overwhelming and isolating to have a child with complex medical conditions. We partner with families to bring an element of normalcy and joy into their lives. In addition to our around-the-clock skilled pediatric nursing, we offer everyday activities including play, art, music, movement and hydrotherapy.

Local 7 Scholarship Fund

Local 7 is committed to giving back to our communities and helping put our children on the path to success. Our scholarship program is 100% member-funded and each year, we’ve been able to donate thousands of dollars to hardworking students across the region.

St Jude Children’s Research Hospital

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.

Eastern New York Youth Soccer

The Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association exists to promote and enhance the game of soccer for the youth of Eastern New York between the ages of 5 and 19-years-old, and to encourage the healthy development of youth players, coaches and administrators. All levels of soccer are offered for the recreational player who is out to enjoy the game and “just have fun”; the club or travel team player who enjoys the spirit of competition and the premier player who is looking to play at the highest levels.

Greater New York Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Chamber is to improve the business climate and quality of living in the New York Metropolitan Area for businesses, workers, residents and visitors. It provides valuable services to over 30,000 business and civic leaders who represent the backbone of the Greater New York business community.

Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club

Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club is a local affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a national organization whose mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. BGCA serves 4.8 million boys and girls across America at over 4,000 club locations, employing 11,000 full-time and 40,000 part-time trained youth professionals, plus tens of thousands of volunteers.

Kids with Courage Foundation

On the surface we’re a little charity in the Midwest, helping kids of all ages and their families, whose lives have been turned upside down with a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis. But when you look below the surface, you’ll discover a true “little engine that could” story, and see us as the innovators who started a full fledged movement that all the big organizations have adopted.

Long Island Elite Foundation

Long Island Elite (LIE) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to fostering the development of Long Island’s business and philanthropic communities. Since 2002, we have focused on cultivating the growth and leadership capabilities of Long Island business professionals, while raising awareness and funds for local charities. Long Island Federation of Labor

The 250,000 member Long Island Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, represents a wide range of union workers from teachers to technicians, public employees to painters, bus drivers to bricklayers, retail, auto, janitorial, utility, health care and construction workers. The Federation is the voice for the Long Island labor movement. It speaks on behalf of Long Island’s working families and its affiliated local unions to political leaders and legislative bodies at every level of government.
